W3 #15
The W3 South was designed to be a large commercial avenue of Brasilia, with buildings for bars, restuarantes, shops and nightclubs. But what we see today is different, their abandoned shops, have given way to small offices, apartments, brothels, music studios, garages, etc. In this series we show invasion corridors of sobrelojas these buildings, often dark and abandoned. I walk the avenue of the southern W3 and enter doors that are open or simply ring the intercom and pretend to be someone else for trying to enter. The result of this research, still in development, shows a different W3 than it should be. Once called by one of the city governors "The 5th Avenue of Brasilia," my series shows the abandonment suffered by real estate speculation and the public indifference.
